HOW DOES IT WORK?

You can look for your family

Trace The Face is an online photo gallery with thousands of pictures of people looking for their family.

If you or your relatives have migrated towards Europe and lost contact, you can directly look for each other on Trace The Face, wherever you are in the world: be it Afghanistan, Senegal, Ethiopia, Syria but also France, the United Kingdom, Sweden or Germany.

The only information available online are people’s photos and their family relationship with the missing person. If you recognize someone, you can write a message to contact their case worker.

START YOUR SEARCH!

You can give your relatives a chance to find you

If you have not found your relative’s picture, please contact the nearest National Red Cross or Red Crescent Society or ICRC office for help.

A team dedicated to search missing persons will handle your request carefully. They are connected to other National Red Cross or Red Crescent Society or ICRC teams all over the world who can also help.

Staff will collect all information and data useful to search for your missing relative. This data will not be available online or shared with anyone, in order to respect your and your missing relative's privacy and security.

Your picture can also be published on Trace The Face, if you wish.
