How the Family Links Network of the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement can help you restore contact with a family member
Looking for family members in Bhutan
There is no National Red Cross Society established in Bhutan. The Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in New Delhi can only contact detainees registered by the ICRC in the past. All requests must be sent to the ICRC in New Delhi, INDIA.

This service is not available in Bhutan.
Restoring contact between family members

The ICRC can help security detainees registered by the ICRC in the past in Bhutan restore/maintain contact with family members living abroad through Red Cross Messages.

The ICRC and the Nepal Red Cross Society help security detainees in Bhutan restore contact with their family members in Nepal trough family visits every three months.

We provide other services
The ICRC can provide attestations of detention for former detainees registered and visited by the ICRC.
